| Iraqi Foreign Minister: Islamic people face dangerous challenges |

| Iraqâs Foreign Minister, Dr. Naji Sabri said that the Islamic peoples were exposed to âdangerous cultural, economic and political challenges which threaten their nationality and securityâ. Especially Iraq... The Islamic world, according to Iraqâs top diplomat, is the âfirst victimâ of the latest changes in international relations, especially following the September 11 attacks. Sabri urged the Islamic Conference Organization to exert efforts to achieve solidarity, cooperation and unity amongst Islamic countries and to confront foreign challenges, the Iraq News Agency reported Thursday. He also called for âresisting interference in internal affairs of any countryâ as well as ârejecting the use of forceâ. He called for affirming principles of justice and equality in international relations, which must be established according to International Law and the U.N Charter, which call for the respect of sovereignty and the rejection of aggression.
