No operation against Al-Qaeda in Balochistan |
2002-07-30 |
Home Secretary Balochistan Azmat Hanif Orakzai has said that neither there are any traces of so-called Al-Qaeda organization in Balochistan nor the government was conducting any operation to find the Al-Qaeda activists in the province. If they're not conducting operations to find them, how do they know they're not there? He further said that about 1300 new employees will be hired for the Levies, a sort of tribal police in the province, to make it more effective and organized. The recruitment will be done through the committees which will have the representation of the district governments. All the hiring will be done on the recommendation of the hiring committees, he added. So if you're related to someone on the committees, give 'em a call. There's a job waiting for you. |
