Indonesian police have said that two explosions which hit the island of Sulawesi on Thursday were caused by bombs. National police chief Da'i Bachtiar said the blasts, which hit a McDonald's restaurant and a car dealership in the island's capital Makassar, were caused by a lower-level explosive than that used in the 12 October Bali bombings. "There are still groups of people that want to create security problems and fear among the people with these bombs," he said.
