Hekmatyar's Afghanistan Hizb-i-Islami Splits

Hizb-i-Islami Afghanistan, party of former Afghan prime minister, Gulbaddin Hekmatyar, has split, which has at least short term implications to the resistance movement against the internationally sanctioned government of Hamid Karzai. The split comes after Hekmatyar announced he was expelling two main leaders of the party's central council, Qazi Mohammad Amin Waqad and Qutubuddin Hilal, for hobnobbing with the Karzai-led administration in Kabul, The News learnt here Wednesday. The expulsion order from Hekmatyar was released in Peshawar on January 4. However, almost immediately, a similar "executive order" of the central council, released in Peshawar the same day, also announced the "expulsion" of Hekmatyar, claiming he was no longer the leader of Hizb-i-Islami.
"You're fired!"
"No, you're fired!"
"What about them infidels?"
"They're fired, too, goddammit!"

The announcement signed by Hekmatyar, accused Waqad and Hilal of "betraying the cause in the interests of the United States" by holding talks with the Karzai government. The "executive order" signed by the central council, condemns Hekmatyar for allegedly allying himself with "the Arabs of al-Qaeda and the Taliban."
Is this a domestic altercation? Should we leave the room?
