Gaza - Unconfirmed reports have recently indicated that the Palestinian Authorityâs security apparatuses had recently received several types of anti-âterrorismâ gear. The reports said that those apparatuses recently received a new shipment of small âballsâ that emanate on firing anesthetic gases to be used in arrest campaigns.
The apparatuses also received new modern vehicles supplied with advanced equipment to jam mobile telephone conversations to be used during raids on resistance elements. Meanwhile, Palestinian sources said that the PA security command was planning a 45 days refresher course for all security elements under the title âa course to deter terrorismâ.

They pointed out that 300 men were recruited from various security apparatuses in the âanti-terrorismâ apparatus that was recently formed. The police force in Gaza also received five armored vehicles specially designed to spray hot water on demonstrators in addition to a big shipment of batons, armors, gas canisters, rubber bullets and other equipment used in quelling and dispersing demonstrations. |
