Three Afghan soldiers were killed in a clash between forces of two commanders in Spin Boldak, an Afghan official said on Thursday. The clash took place near a US base in the area. An Afghan official told Daily times that forces clashed over the possession of a checkpost in the area. Forces of commander Abdur Razaq and Commander Gudd Fida exchanged heavy fire.

The official said an Afghan spokesman for US troops was among those who were killed in the clash. He said the situation was under control. US troops have arrested about dozen suspects involved in the incident. |
