World Bank pumps $15 mln
2003-12-02 | |
The World Bank is giving the Palestinian Authority’s finance ministry an emergency $15 million grant to improve battered education, health and social services in the West Bank and Gaza. Hamas, Fatah and IJ must be short of weapons stocks - think 10% of this money will reach the people it’s "meant" to help? "The grant will finance goods and operating expenditures such as water, electricity, rent, no shit? cause/effect anyone?
Partly because donors are tired of Arafat and cronies pilfering funds

#2 "After three years of ’intifada’ all Palestinian economic indicators show steep decline," the bank said. So, the solution is to perpetuate the sorry situation by throwing in even more money? Shit, give ME the $15 mil. I can do a lot more good with it than the Palestinian Authority any day. |

#1 You mean the World Bank is giving money for the types of school books the Palestinian children have been reading???!!! Supporting the same teachers that teach their kids jihad and play with (hopefully) play handgrenades in the classroom? God save us all!!!!! |
