| Woman Driver Shoots at Police |

| Is this the beginning of the end for the Soddies? Late at night the police in Tabuk arrested a woman in her twenties driving a black BMW, Al-Eqtisadia reported. According to newspaper sources, police were suspicious of the driver who was wearing male Saudi dress. They attempted to stop the car but the driver refused and when they gave chase, she fired five shots at them, damaging the police car. Other police cars joined in the chase which ended when the woman crashed into a streetlight. The police were shocked to find the driver was a woman; their investigations continue. |
