Server crashes... |
2004-07-21 |
The server crashed mere moments after I went to bed last night. I'm hoping to swap it out this afternoon for the new, improved model. We can then expect a flood of bugs of other flavors, as all the things I overlooked in setting it up kick in. Sorry for the outages. I'm pretty sure they're mechanical. |

#6 I tried to access the site earlier today (first time in several weeks), and kept getting some really weird error message. I was beginning to get a bit testy - almost ready to go out and start building a B-17 in my back yard there... Of course, then I'd have to recruit a crew to fly it... and find a few "discarded" 500-lb or 1000-lb bombs (this is Colorado - not that hard, believe me)... and pick an appropriate target or two. Now THERE'S the hard part - winnowing down the target list. There's been a recent 'run' on that position: Sandy Berger...the perrenial favorite fat-man, Michael Moore...a new replacement for the Dixie Chicks, Linda Ronstadt...the ever-(un)popular Terry McAuliffe...our Columbine visitor, Laughing Bill...Johnnie the War Hero Kerry...Teddy "I can't swim, but I float, like all S***" Kennedy. Glad you're back up and running, Fred, VERY glad! (I'm gonna keep the plans for that B-17 handy, though...) |

#5 Once I get all the bugs shaken out we should run about 90 miles an hour. |

#2 Are you sure Sandy Berger didn't have access? Check his, um, socks. |
