[Musharraf gets a clue] 10 new bullet-proof cars for VVIPs |

Staff Report Sunday, August 22, 2004 ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly was informed on Friday that 10 new bullet-proof Mercedes cars had been bought for very very important persons (VVIPs) at a cost of Rs 525.48 million. In a written reply to the house, the government said four bullet-proof cars were being used by President's House and Prime Minister's Secretariat, while six cars were reserved for state guests. The new cars were purchased on the eve of the SAARC summit in Islamabad this year. |
