Two more people were killed on Tuesday in the latest wave of the ongoing clash between the Solangi and Jagirani tribes, which has claimed more than 13 lives. The latest violence started when armed Solangi tribesmen fired at a bus near Nagan Joria and killed 20-year-old Kamal Jagirani of the Jagirani tribe. In reaction, Jagirani tribesmen reportedly kidnapped Nazeer Solangi from a bus near Ghaffar Shah and killed him. Tension increased in the area as the two tribes prepared for an armed clash. However, police and rangers are now patrolling the area to prevent fighting. The district police officer said the situation was under control and those responsible for the killings would soon be arrested. |
