| #14 In Saudi Arabia, it's still Hardee's name on the signs. They have a mixture of original Hardee's stuff (funny - no pork cutlet sandwich, though...) and Carl's. The outlet on the Corniche in Al Khobar was my fav drive-thru. Always spent about 50SR - approx $13... food is expensive there cuz almost everything is imported, of course. |

However, when CKE Restaurants (Owners of the Carl's Jr. chain) purchased the Hardee's operation, they dumped the Hardee's menu in favor of the Carl's Jr. menu. An outstanding Marketing decision as the CJ menu is vastly superior. The burgers are in fact much better than anything you will get at any of the other fast food establishments, with the notable exception of Whataburger or Sonic. Try one sometime, your arteries will thank you! Wimpy - I will gladly pay you Tuesday... |
