Two people, including an absconder, were shot dead on Thursday evening over an old enmity in Allama Iqbal Town.

Iftikhar, alias Khara, had allegedly killed Muhammad Saeed in Ferozewala a few months ago and had fled. Police declared Iftikhar an absconder. On Thursday, Iftikhar and 60-year-old Muhammad Ali came to meet somebody at 196-Zeenat Block on a car where four rivals, including Saeed's father Muhammad Iqbal, alias Bala, opened fire on them. Iftikhar and Muhammad Ali received severe bullet wounds and died instantly.

The bodies were sent for an autopsy.
