| #1 The exchange rate of Australian dollars is about 1.3 of those to a US dollar. 1.278 million Australian dollars is probably under US$1 million. The article says "substantial and debilitating injuries to her lower back, groin and legs." No more details than that are provided. This sounds like a nasty injury to her groin and other areas. If that happened to me, I'd want a million minimum. I hope Ivene Denise Bryan recovers as much as she can. |
