RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Saudi Arabia said Wednesday its border with Iraq is secure and tightly monitored, and is unlikely to be infiltrated.
Interior Ministry spokesman Mansour al-Turk was quoted in the daily al-Watan as denying any infiltration "because the frontier is highly secure and it is impossible to cross it except through legal crossings." He said the authorities erected sand mounds, barbed wires, cameras and heat sensors along the Iraqi border, which is monitored by border patrols. | Sooooo, I guess this means you're saying that nobody crosses into Iraq to join the jihad without official government permission? |
