| The Global Islamic Media Front, an al-Qaeda mouthpiece, recently disseminated a message describing âal-Qaeda University for Jihad Subjects,â a hypothetical, global institution providing instruction in psychological, electronic, and physical warfare, which really serves as a call for those who seek to become mujahideen to join the training camps. Those who enter may also receive training in explosives and âjihad with souls,â taught with the ideology of jihad leaders and the âsupporter of Allahâs religion - Usama bin Ladenâ. The message indicates that the term âjihad subjectsâ was chosen over âterrorism subjectsâ for the reason that the terms are only synonymous to the âhypocrites and their masters, the enemies of the Islamic Nation.â Regardless, the group believers that their actions are âwell-acceptedâ and lawful as per Islamic shariâa, and âit is our right to terrify the enemies and that is what is happening now with the grace of Allah, and the greater will come, God willing.â Further, the advertisement states that âthe students of jihad today are the mujahideen of tomorrow,â as it incites Muslims to action and promises that those who âgraduateâ from al-Qaeda University apply their knowledge on the ground and teach the âjihad supporters who are still learning from these heroes, and they will hurt the enemy in the coming days.â |
