President Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday urged the nation to unite and face the post-earthquake situation with courage, as it was time to join hands for the rehabilitation of those who had lost their loved ones and homes."We are a bold and courageous nation. I appreciate the spirit of the people who volunteered to help their countrymen in this hour of need," the president said in his address to the nation, appreciating the role of political parties and those in opposition. The president said it was not a time to criticise. "We need to demonstrate unity and the courage to move forward," the president said, urging the nation not to let a defeatist approach overcome them. "Our action must be seen. I appreciate the people for their courage, confidence, unity and support for the victims of this disaster."
