Baghdad, 27 Oct. (AKI) - A brigade of the newly formed Iraqi army has been sent on its first foreign humanitarian mission, to the quake-devastated areas of Pakistan, according to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA. The announcement came from the defence ministry in Baghdad on Thursday. The Iraqi army chief of staff, Babker Zebari, said that the soldiers sent to Pakistan have been trained in the United Arab Emirates.
