Man found dead in Indon consulate |

A 35-year-old Indonesian national was found dead of knife wounds at the Indonesian consulate in New York today, police said. The man, whose identity was not released, was found in the basement of the consulate at 5th Avenue and East 68th Street in Manhattan with a knife in his chest and wounds on his left wrist, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man had been living at the consulate for about a month and was awaiting a visa to return to Indonesia after having been stranded in the US, according to local media. Several knives were found at the scene near the body, and police were investigating. No arrests have been made. |

Several knives? Was it a conspiracy? Why did he go into the basement? |
