Hamas govt says Gulf states to provide $80 mln | |

RAMALLAH, West Bank - Palestinian Finance Minister Omar Abdel-Razeq said on Wednesday that the Hamas-led government expected to receive $80 million from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates to help pay March But he said it was unclear when the Palestinian Authority would secure the funds. March salaries totaling about $118 million were scheduled to be paid earlier this week. Asked if the government was concerned it would not be able to pay salaries, Abdel-Razeq told reporters: “There is a concern, but I do not think about it.”
