As many as seven citizens were killed in a clash between the US-led coalition forces and a group of militants in eastern Afghanistan Saturday night. The battle took place in the Korangal Valley of the mountainous Kunar province, where the coalition forces have launched a massive operation "Mountain Lion" to flush out insurgents from the area.
