(KUNA) -- Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) continue to take soldiers' lives in Iraq, killing two Iraqi police officers and a Multi-National Forces (MNF) soldier, security sources said Saturday. The two Iraqi police officers were killed today when a bomb exploded by their patrol car in Baghdad's northern suburbs, Iraqi police said. The IED was planted on the roadside in Al-Waziriya and blasted when the patrol passed over it. A Multi-National Forces (MNF) soldier was killed Friday in Baghdad when an IED detonated in the city, said an MNF statement Saturday. No further details are available about the explosion. |
