 (KUNA) -- A Turkish soldier was killed Saturday during an ongoing clash with Kurdish gunmen in the South-Eastern Turkish governorate of Tunceli. Turkish Ihlas News Agency quoted a statement issued by the office of Tunceli Governor as saying that Kurdish gunmen attacked a Turkish military patrol in Dinar area. Consequently, the two sides engaged in a still ongoing clash. At least two Kurdish Worker Union (PKK) members were killed yesterday in clashes that took place in the South-Eastern Turkish Governorate of Bingol. |
