JAKARTA, Indonesia - A moderate earthquake struck in eastern Indonesian waters on Saturday, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, meteorological officials and residents said.The epicenter of the 5.8-magnitude quake was beneath the Banda Sea, and around 230 kilometers (145 miles) southwest of Ambon, the capital of Maluku province, the US Geological Survey said on its Web site. Lukman, an official at the Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency who goes by only one name, said there were no reports of casualties or damage. Residents in Ambon said they did not even feel the quake.
