(KUNA) -- One person was killed and four injured in two seperate incidents in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir Sunday. One person died in an encounter between guerrillas and Indian security forces at Handwara in north Kashmir's Kupwara district Sunday, news agency Indo-Asian News Service reported. In another incident an explosion occurred when gunmen hurled a powerful hand grenade at a bunker of the Indian paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) in the Sopore town of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir Sunday, the news agency reported. The grenade after hitting the bunker exploded on the road injuring the four civilians. |
