 IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz admitted in an interview with Channel 1 that he had considered resigning after the war in Lebanon. "I would be lying if I said that things like this didn't cross a person's mind," he told an interviewer who raised the subject. He added that "at the end of the day, when I look at the challenge that stands before me, I think it's appropriate that I take on this journey and continue it.
