Islamic Courts form islamic administration in Kismayo |

(SomaliNet) The council of Islamic Courts (CIC) in Kismayo port city, southern Somalia has set up on Friday an Islamic administration for Lower Juba region after days of meetings with local clan elders – the authority is coming under control of Islamic Courts. The new administration consist of chairman, deputy chairman and army commander with seaport and airport managers. These people were selected from inhabitants, Islamist official said. Ahmed Sheik Mohamed known as (Ahmed Madobe) was nominated for the ruler of Lower Juba region of Islamic Courts, while his deputy was picked up for Abdi Fitah Moalim Ali. The new Islamic authority has also up to seven departments including education and health. |
