| Second bombing kills, injures 16 |

| (KUNA) -- Five Iraqis were killed and 11 injured when a second booby-trapped car ripped through a public place in Baghdad Wednesday, police said. The car was in a parking garage close to a music hall and two government buildings. Buildings surrounding the scene were destroyed, and the area was sealed off after the bombing. Casualties from the previous Al-Jadiriah checkpoint bombing rose to 11 deaths, and 31 people injured. The body count includes three police officers killed, and nine wounded. In other news, militants killed a high school teacher, Mahmoud Mohammad Rasheed, a Palestinian. Rasheed is the brother of a known actor, Zahir Mohammad Rasheed. A number of actors were killed by militants over the past few days. |
