| Fresh bomb attack wounds several people in Mogadishu |

| (SomaliNet) Unidentified gunmen have launched a bomb attack at the police station in Medina neighborhood, southwest of Somalia capital Mogadishu causing the injury of several people including a police officer as part of constant attacks mounting in the capital against the targets of the interim government and Ethiopian forces. Witnesses told Somalinet that the explosion occurred around 7:40pm local time when unknown militiamen have attacked the police station with hand grenade bomb. Several people including a police officer have been wounded in the latest attack. The explosion followed by gunfire as the attackers escaped unharmed The attacks against the bases of the interim government and Ethiopian forces have been increasing for the few days. On Saturday, it was the bloodiest day when mortar and rocket attacks in the capital killed at least seven civilians and wounds dozens more. Meanwhile, the allied forces of Somalia and Ethiopia reopened the key roads in southern of Mogadishu after hours of blockade following insurgent attacks at the government bases. |
