One person was killed and 10 others were injured when a man snatched a Kalashnikov from a policeman at the Pashtoonabad Police Station and opened fire at his rival group on Sunday afternoon, police said. SHO Noor Muhammad said the firing killed Abdul Khaliq, elder brother of former Zarghoon town nazim Abdul Qahar Wadan, and injured three policemen and seven civilians. He said the attacker and the victim had come to police after their children quarrelled. The attacker fled, he added.
