| Woman and two children killed in Balochistan rocket attack |

| Violence continued across Balochistan as three people were killed in a rocket attack on Sunday. A railway track was blown up and law-enforcement agencies’ check posts sustained rocket and bomb attacks. A woman and her two children were killed when insurgents fired a rocket at their house. Sources said the rocket was fired from an unknown location in the Kahan area of Kohlu district. Govt officials, however, did not confirm the report. Saboteurs also blew up a two-foot section of the railway track near Quetta with a powerful bomb. The bomb disposal squad defused three other bombs found near the blast’s site. “Pakistan Railways officials have repaired the track,” an official said. A bomb blast was reported outside a security force’s check post on Sunday morning. No serious damage was reported. The local administration has started searching for the culprits. Another rocket was fired at the Balochistan Constabulary’s check post in Khuzdar district. Suspected militants lobbed the rocket at a check post in Gasleeti Charrai, Khuzdar district. The rocket missed the target and landed a few meters away from the check post. No group has accepted the responsibility. |
