Police Maj. #1 the MSM is really missing this. for years its been, is this an anti-occupation insurgency, or a Sunni vs Shiite civil war. With either answer holding negative prospects for the success of the mission. But what now seems to be happening in Anbar is a full fledged Sunni vs Sunni civil war. Which, despite the tragedy for the civilians involved, has positive prospects of the success of the mission. Time to get this meme out, folks. |
