An Anti-Terrorism Court on Saturday granted five-day physical remand of the two accused in the murder of Supreme CourtÂ’s additional registrar Hammad Raza to the Capital Police. The two, Nisar Ahmed and Farhad, were arrested from Muzaffarabad for their alleged links with four men held in the case. A police official said that the four suspected murderers, Sharifuddin Gillani, Bashiruddin Gillani, Mir Afzal and Basharat Mir, had obtained a wagon from Muhammad Nisar on rent and sold gold ornaments, stolen from slain SC officialÂ’s residence, to Farhad Hussain, a Muzaffarabad-based jeweler. He said that Capital Police pleaded the court identification parade of the accused, stating that RazaÂ’s family would be asked to identify them if allowed by the court. RazaÂ’s father Syed Amjad Ali alleged his son was target killed. |
