Taliban commander confirmed killed in Afghan air strike |

Taliban commander Mullah Mahmud Baluch was killed last week during an air raid on a convoy of weapons and ammunition in the southern Afghanistan province of Helmand, coalition forces announced early Thursday. Baluch, considered a senior leader of the radical-Islamic Taliban in Helmand and Nimroz provinces, was killed in the June 9 air strike, confirmed the military. |

#2 Air power is a bitch, then you die. Air power USED PROPERLY certainly is. The US is the master in using air power. I'm sure by now we know every infiltration route from Pakistan into Afghanistan, and watch them hourly, even at night. A little napalm on those routes would make things much more "interesting" - for the talibunnies. Fricaseed (tali)bunny has always been one of my favorites. |
