| #13 Electability? Wasn't that the big plus that Kerry supposedly had in '04? It sure didn't help him much in Florida, now, did it, Mudcat? Still lost it by 5 points, and that was with good ol' hedge fund boy on the ticket. |

| #10 This "Mudcat" feller was writing the other day in some "progressive" venue -- forget where -- and he was lamenting the fact that his fellow Democrats were so contemptuous and dismissive of the rural Democrat vote. After all, those people are union Democrats, and the "netroots" should have a little bit more consideration for their views. Something along those lines. His fellow compassionate progressives proceeded to gut him, clean him, bread him, fry him, and serve him up with a side of hush puppies and coleslaw. That'll teach him not to mess with his betters. |
