| Iran: Kurdish trade unionist kidnapped |

| (AKI) - Kurdish trade unionist Loghman Mehri is reported to have been kidnapped with his wife by unknown assailants while entering the bus station in the Iranian capital,Teheran. Several passengers at the scene said Loghman had been violently beaten before being loaded into a car and taken away with his young wife. The trade unionist, free on bail, was due to present himself next week at Sanandaj prison, in Iranian Kurdistan. He was in the capital on his honeymoon. |
