| The United Nations Security Council has decided to delay the publication of a presidential statement calling for Hizbullah to release captive reservists Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev immediately and without preconditions. Earlier, the council approved the statement unanimously. According to Israel Radio, publication of the statement was delayed due to opposition from Qatar.
