| #1 Yes, if only we hadn't wasted all our money on (fill in your own blank) we could've rebuilt all the bridges that were deficient. Except it was not a failure of inspection or maintenance. Structurally deficient does not mean what you choose to think it means. Besides, there are not enough designers or bridge contractors to rebuild them all in any reasonable time frame. Oh, excuse my common sense. |
