| Day after blasts, 19 timer bombs found in Hyderabad |

| Hyderabad,India August 26: Police found 19 unexploded bombs in Hyderabad a day after at least 40 people were killed in blasts Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy blamed on terrorists based in Bangladesh or Pakistan. New Delhi has sent extra police and special bomb detection equipment to Hyderabad, an IT hub, after bombs packed with metal pellets exploded at a food centre and an amusement park on Saturday night. About 80 people were wounded by the three blasts that went off within minutes of each other. Police discovered the unexploded bombs -- most fitted with timers and placed in plastic bags -- at bus stops, by cinema halls, road junctions and pedestrian bridges and near a public water tap across the capital of Andhra Pradesh state. On Sunday, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh pointed to militant groups in neighbouring Pakistan and Bangladesh. "As things stand today the available information points to that," Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy told a news conference when asked if militants from Bangladesh or Pakistan were involved. A federal home ministry official said about 22 people were being questioned. Separately, police reported one man had been detained near Hyderabad on suspicion of selling bicycle ball-bearings that were used as pellets in the bombs. Reddy said 40 people had died, including three children, while the state home minister and some police put the toll at 43. |

Only lately are they beginning to realize that America and the West are, or should be, their best friends. You are absolutely right, Rambler. For that, India needs some grinding lessons as to exactly whom is at the top of the food chain. Still, as Asia's largest and most successful democracy, we'd damn well better make sure to encourage such an example. |

We in the West should blush with a deep sense of total inadequacy and shame over our collective lack of response to the Delhi Parliament atrocity. The Delhi atrocity should have cemented the West's concorde with India in eradicating all further Muslim threats to those of us who wanted to survive. |

| #2 Like Israel, India displays an almost saintly degree of forebearance in the restraint they show towards their Muslim population. And just like Israel, when that patience finally comes to an end, being a Muslim will not amount to very much fun. Both countries were completely entitiled to purge their Muslim populations long, long ago. |
