Seven soldiers and two civilians were killed in a blast at an Indian army camp in Baramula on Thursday. Scores of soldiers and civilians were also injured, APP reported.
A military spokesman said the exact number of dead and injured could be known only after the debris of the structure, damaged in the blast, were removed. Another report said a gas cylinder exploded inside the canteen at Hamraj Pattan this afternoon. The blast was followed by two more blasts. Junaidul Islam, spokesman for Hezbul Mujahideen, claimed responsibility for the blasts in a phone call to the Kashmir News Service, AFP reported. |
