Peres on Iran: An imperialist state, wishing to take over the world |
2007-10-19 |
Even though Russian President Vladimir Putin was not convinced of Iran's intentions, any person could realize that no country would invest the sums needed to build long range ballistic missiles without the ability of mounting nuclear warheads on them, President Shimon Peres said Thursday. The president was speaking with the Israeli-Palestinian Forum of Bereaved Families. "Iran," Peres said, "is an imperialist state and it is no secret that they want to take over the Muslim world, the Middle East and anywhere else they can reach." The president also rejected rumors about his health. Peres said he was feeling well and added that his doctors said he was as fit as a young person. |

#3 IMPERIALISM, GLOBALISM + AGGRESSION is stated andor strongly implied/inferred in iran's post-Shah [1979] CONSTITUTION. Just have to recall Moud's own comments and before him the anti-US/Western rants of the Ayatollah Khomeini. |

#2 Yes, Iran may be an imperialist state seeking to take over the world, but it is anti-Bush. Doesn't that out-weigh whatever evils lie in its heart? |

#1 Iran an imperialist state? They just want to help their neighbor get on their feet. They care so much that they are sending their Qods force to help out. |
