| Major California Wildfire Declared Arson |

| A major wildfire that has scorched thousands of acres and destroyed hundreds of homes in Southern California has been declared an arson, according to Orange County law enforcement and FBI officials said on Wednesday. Officials said that there is a $70,000 reward for information leading to an arrest for those responsible for the Santiago fire in the rugged eastern part of the county. The Orange County SheriffÂ’s Department said that no search warrants have been served, and there are no suspects in custody. The FBI has become involved in the investigation because part of the fire was on federal land in National Forest. |

| #3 Are people burning their houses for the insurance money(at estimated cost)? The market value at sale in California has fallen 40%, so some people might try and avoid bankruptcy in this way. |
