14 terrorists rounded up in southern Thailand |

About 100 police and soldiers raided a village in Thailand's southern border province of Narathiwat Monday morning and rounded up 14 suspected insurgents. The raid at Kubersawor village in Muang district was launched at 5:30 a.m. (2230 GMT) and lasted over 2 hours, according to the Thai News Agency. Two of the suspects are believed to be leaders. They are Kuding Uma, 26 and Sahabuding Mad, 28. The police and soldiers also seized four guns and caches of ammunition and explosives during the raid. |

#1 This is the first news I've ever seen of Thais doing something. Even with their new initiatives, I saw no results. |
