Motorcyclists open fire at police patrol in Rawalpindi |

RAWALPINDI: Two motorcyclists opened fire on a police patrolling squad in the Iqbal Town area here late Tuesday night, leaving a constable injured. Sources said the Sadiqabad police station patrolling squad, led by Assistant Sub Inspector Muhammad Yaqoob, flagged down a motorbike at around 11.30pm. Instead of stopping, the two men opened fire on the squad and fled. Constable Tahir Imran was shot in the incident, and was taken to hospital. |
