| 'Eight bombers enter Pindi' |

| Suicide bombers have infiltrated Rawalpindi where former premier Benazir Bhutto plans a protest this week against a state of emergency, police said on Thursday.“We have very specific intelligence reports that suicide bombers have entered Rawalpindi,” city police chief Saud Aziz told AFP. Aziz said up to eight bombers may be in the city and could “target big gatherings and kill innocent people.” Police have also informed Bhutto “there are serious, serious threats from the bombers,” he added. Aziz reiterated that Bhutto’s party would not be allowed to stage a meeting. |
