Hattab case is cross-examined
2007-11-11
Home affairs minister put an end to the controversy over the founding-father of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat GSPC. “Hassan Hattab case is still in cross-examination,” he stated. Home affairs minister Mr. Noureddine Yazid Zerhouni told the press that the GSPC former chief (1999-2003) is involved in many terrorism-related cases.

“The primary cross-examinations are taking their due course” he added. He explained that Hattab alias Abu Hamza is not runaway as mentioned in the criminal court nonsuits and he is to be tried whenever possible”, without giving further details. Zerhouni statements intervene to put an end to the GSPC former chief paradox as he is tried as a runway while everybody knows he’s been arrested by security services.
