| #5 Attacks and US casualties are the highest they've been since the Afghan campaign began, but so are Taliban casualties. Our problem from the beginning was getting the enemy to stand up and fight. We no longer have that problem. And that is a good thing. I look forward to Uncle Sam killing tens of thousands of Taliban in the years ahead. |

| #2 AP is not the only one to say it. Somebody on the 'bunny side is doing a rather remarkable job of motivating them too, since the great majority of those increased attacks end with lots of hassenfeffer. Perhaps that motivational speaker could be lured away to help coach the Pakisan national cricket team instead - everybody would come out ahead that way. |
