A military wing of Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Sunday announced it had arrested several spies involved in helping Israel assassinating leaders of Palestinian factions.
Abu Obaida, spokesman for Ezz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, said that the recent interrogations on some collaborators led to the discovery of some spies who were suspected of being involved in the assassination of a number of resistance leaders, including the late Hamas leader Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi who was killed in 2004. While denying the spies were affiliated with his movement, the spokesman rejected to make the names of the spies public for security reasons. |
