21,000 booked for rioting in Nawabshah

Police have booked 21,000 people on the charge of rioting in Nawabshah. The Nawabshah Railway Police registered cases against 7,500 unidentified people on the charge of setting ablaze two express trains and one goods train.

Meanwhile, the Daur Police registered 11 FIRs against 3,500 unidentified people for involving in arson, looting, damaging government property and telephone exchange.

Also, in 30 FIRs, over 10,000 unidentified people, including PPP Taluka Secretary-General Noor Nawaz Zardari, were booked by different police stations of the district. Meanwhile, traders demanded of the government to immediately construct and rehabilitate shops and markets looted and burnt during the recent riots. Meanwhile, normalcy returned to the city, its suburbs and other towns and villages of the district.
