Osama's son wants British visa to live with granny bride
2008-01-13
LONDON: Osama bin Laden's 26-year-old son has sought a British visa so that he and his granny bride can live in the country and have a surrogate child.

British Embassy officials in Cairo have interviewed Omar bin Laden who plans to settle down with his 52-year-old wife Jane Felix-Browne at her home in Cheshire, have a child through a surrogate mother and work as "peace activists", the 'Daily Mail' reported on Sunday.

The son of the world's most wanted man and five-time divorcee Jane, now Zaina Al Sabah bin Laden, have given the British Embassy in Cairo -- where they are currently living -- access to their bank accounts to allow checks on authenticity of their relationship.

Omar has recently divorced his first wife, the mother of his two-year-old son, to prove that his marriage to Jane is nothing but "genuine".

"The embassy staff are all very friendly and they are doing all the checks. It could take a while for the visa to come through but there's no reason in law why Omar and I should not be able to live in the United Kingdom together.

"It is very easy to get a tourist visa. Other members of Omar's family have had them, but we have applied for a settlement visa. We would stay in Cheshire where I have a house.

"We have been told there will not be a problem as long as we can provide the original documents from his divorce from his first wife. And that should be done in a week," Jane was quoted by the British newspaper as saying.

The couple got married in September 2006 following a holiday romance in Egypt.

However, when contacted, the British Embassy in Egypt has refused to comment on the matter.

What, binny's son can't get it up so he needs a surrogate to produce a child?

By the way, isn't there a law against child abuse? Does it apply pre-child?

Why does the word taquiyya come to mind?

#2  I'm not usually one to question somebody's Brady Bunch fantasy, but this one looks like an excuse to create a Franken-Imam for Finsbury Park. This may be a case where the state requires a pre-nup. It's funny that her fantasy only works if they live in Cheshire. I wonder whether Omar plans to bring his son and divorsed wife to Cheshire. Maybe they could practice their peace activity in the Sudan for several years before the VISA is approved. I sure his family owns property there.
